Would anyone know how I could recreate my 'Blue Tan Plaid' pattern in Adobe Illustrator at 300dpi? I've found a couple of tutorials, but they don't seem to be any help.

You could use a hexadecimal calculator; that would be faster.

Thanks for the tip, wist.

Actually, I was wrong, I just tried it; the averages come out different. Sorry.

Oh, well, thanks for trying to help anyways.

Another example!
Fake_Food

The five colors in this palette have the following RGB codes:
1B5167: 27, 81, 103
Drip Drop: 48, 156, 154
A42C60: 164, 44, 96
Like Train: 235, 230, 213
Remember Things We: 126, 137, 145

To get your average, add all the RED values, the GREEN values and the BLUE values. Then divide those values by 5. If you get a decimal, round to the closest whole number.

27 + 48 + 164 + 235 + 126 = 600 600 / 5 = 120
81 + 156 + 44 + 230 + 137 = 648 648 / 5 = 129.6 (130)
103 + 154 + 96 + 213 + 145 = 711 711 / 5 = 142.2 (142)

120, 130, 142 is the NEW color!
