VCC (Vanny’s Colour Challenge)
is created in order to challenge and entice your creative mind. In addition we would like you all to have fun with the challenge and get to know other colourlovers.

There are two types of VCC: Community and Personal (formerly Individual). What is the difference?

In VCC Community, you will use the provided a combination of colours on this thread to make a palette based on the corresponding theme.

You can challenge other lovers in person by sending a set of two colours via love note. This is called VCC Personal.
Please note Challenge must to mention who sent you the Personal challenge in your palette description. Each entry also has to follow the current theme, so challengers must included Month and Week # in your love note.

The following are the guideline in submitting your VCC palette:
1. Use VCC colour combo to make a pallete
2. Each palette must contains 5 colours
3. Inspiration of your palette must be based on the corresponding theme
4. You must include "[VCC]" on your title
e.g.: [VCC] Interesting
5. You MUST tag your palettes VCC
6. On your palette description please mention:
VCC Community or Personal
Challenged by: (only if this is a personal challenge)
Month: Week # (Will be indicated on colour posting)
THeme:
Colours:
#HEX#
#Hex#

Other information:

• VCC Community will be posted every week in March and April on Fridays
• Theme will be updated together with VCC Community (the theme changes everytime there's a new set of Community Colours)
• There is no limit on how many times you can create palettes based on one set of VCC colour combos
• VCC Personal palletes have to be created according to the corresponding community theme
• VCC Challengers will be maintain to inform which lovers are willing to send and accept personal challenges
• If you would like to be on the VCC lovenote mailing list or would like to have your name listed on VCC Personal Challenger, please contact vaneea
• There are a lot of palletes from previous VCC, you can search for it!

Hello everybody.
I just want to let you all know that as of today, there are 523 VCC Palletes.
Thank you all for participating!! It has been a good 1 year since VCC start.
We have gone through various website upgrades, a couple of months of forum hiatus, two revisions of participation rules and dozens of colour sets.

I'm looking forward for your entry and continuous support!
Thank you Darius for creating this website!!

colourLOVE,
Vanny

Vanny, people will get back in the groove with time. They may just need to see some VCCs floating around to jog their mems.

Holy MOSES, I finally figured out what this means. LOL. I gotta tell you, it's kind of hard to navigate this site sometimes and figure out where everything is. I had 3 people send me challenges and I had NO idea what VCC meant or what the challenge was or where it came from. I've been coming here a month and just NOW discovered these forums.

Whew. I was so confused. ;)

It would be nice if the VCC logo could be hyperlinked to a page showing all the VCC palettes, and instructions on what it is all about.

(Hey Darius, the buttons above don't work!)

Vintage stores seem to be a great place of inspiration to me. I like to look at what past generations style and fuse that with the new and current.

With this challenge think about the colours your Parents, Grandparents and Great-Grandparents wore.

I haven't post any challenge!
Since artsykerley has already posted a challenge, I guess I have to wait until next Friday to post another one. Please forgive me for slacking. I know that plenty of people wants to be in the VCC Mailing list. I will get that set up soon; very soon..
I've been busy with my freelance work and coding my blog. (http://otakuhime.blogspot.com)

What to expect in the next week:
Mailing List Set Up
VCC Challengers List (For personal VCC)
A new logo for VCC

Please send me a message if you would like to be on the mailing list and/or Challengers list. If you have sent me a note about it, you don't have to send it to me again.

Alright. I'm going back to code my blog sidebar!! [I accidentally save the wrong file and messed it up real good!]

I'm done with new logo for VCC.
I have a variety for you to put on your profile page/blog or website! If you need one for a certain background colour that doesn't work well with any of these.
