I googled 'Google Chrome color picker addon. I don't use Chrome, so can't vouch for these.

first, I found a lot of words on Colorzilla, which seems to have a lot of advanced features people might or might not need.
I looked in the Chrome web store for extensions, and I found Color Picker, which seems perfect, and/or Eyedropper, which also sounds good. Both have pretty good star ratings.

Also, if you're technical, there appears to be a color picker built in to the chrome browser already, available in
the html analysis toolbar.
