Some spammer who just used something of mine about 40 minutes ago has already been deleted! Is someone working on this full time now? Or do they have some program in place to catch and delete these?

I don't know, but I thought that someone was going through them. They seem to be deleting them as we post them...

Except for a bunch we posted yesterday! They started going down my list, then they stopped midway, and of yours, they only deleted the porn one.
Weird, since everything else is disappearing, as you said, as we post it.

I agree with Yersinia... It is a thorny issue, but freedom of speech means that it isn't right to just delete a member's account because you don't agree with what they post.

HOWEVER... this raises a good point - is there a place, or a facility, to report or complain about members? If not, there should be... :/

But I believe it is important to stick to obvious, confirmed spammers in this thread here. Someone is reading these and deleting the accounts in question.
If we start posting accounts of people we just don't like here, this might slow down the deleting process again and I really don't want to risk that.

Agreed.

It is quite surprising that there isn't any way to report a member. I sympathise with glerum as the Anders Breivik palette in particular disturbs me, but reporting members we have a problem with should not be done in public, it should be brought to the staff's attention and they should judge the situation in a discreet and appropriate manner. I doubt this will ever happen here though. :(

Ayatollah is a good guy. He has schizophrenia and has moments when his brain and though processes are glitchy but overall, he has a good heart.

And yeah, Yersinia had a bring up a thread in which Gabs and I act like idiots. :P

The thing about art is there's really no such thing as appropriate and inappropriate. Art is a means for expressing emotions and, just like life, emotions aren't always sunshine and daisies. There's nothing wrong with that, at least in my opinion. Darkness is required to appreciate light. :)
