What is something you do that (as far as you know) you only do? Like your own little trademark....

I have my own shellisms (little bits of 'wisdom' lol) that i randomly come up with, so i've been quoted a lot.

For example: a penny spent is a candy earned ^_^

I LOOK IN THE MIRROR ALL THE TIME TOO.

I just stare at myself. I mean, I don't think I'm gorgeous or anything. I just like to watch my mouth when I talk, or watch my eyes when I make expressions.

and, ps, tofriday337, I've been growing out my brows and I'm now searching for a good place nearby to get them done. I'm not sure why I'm telling you, but I think of you every time I look at my brows and go 'OMG, I HAVE to get these done THIS WEEKEND.'

I don't know if we are freaks, but i'm glad to know you do it too! I expecially like to look at my butt as I go up the stairs ( I have strategically placed mirrors-hehe) and then sometimes I go up and down and watch my butt move on the stairs... tmi- My face is always being checked on, but when I eat I get food on it, so it is also preventative
Don't mess those brows up!! Bring a picture with you of someones eyebrows, this way the person doing it can see what you want, even if its not exact, it will help the shape be good

...I think we're the same person. when we walk to the movie theater I always like check my body in the mirrors, XD

and, okay, I'll try to do that. I live in a town of 8000, so I have to go out of town to get them done... I just hope I end up getting a good person... I'm having my senior pictures made soon.

Hmm... just an interesting question you pose. I'm not quite sure. I consider myself (or at least try to be) eclectic.

Ohh, no one understands my colour-loving either. They say "I don't get it, what's the point of putting the colors together? How is it fun?" They simply don't understand how I can spend all day on here. haha

Also, my boyfriend says I live in my own little world. I have special words I use for certain things, for example shower=show show. They usually start out as a joke and I just start saying it. Almost everyone that is around me on a regular basis understands and uses the words too, but it's awkward when talking to someone and I forget to say the real word for whatever I'm talking about. eek!

i guess my little tick is looking at myself when i'm playing an upright piano. shiny ones that i can see my face in. it's distracting..not a good habit~

My husband recently told me I read "too much" and I'm "obsessed with cramming every bit of available knowledge into my head". So what does this make me - a compulsive learner?

I also look at myself in the mirror a lot. I still stare at my eyes, trying to figure out exactly what color they are (a bizarre mix of blue, green, gray and hazel). I also remember being a kid, sitting on the edge of the bathroom sink in the dark, real close to the mirror. I would flick the lights on and watch my pupils dilate - I thought that was one of the coolest things.

No one gets my color-loving either.

Oh man, my weird little compulsions change all the time. For some reason I will tighten certain muscles or bend my fingers or toes tightly multiple times. It's hard to describe. But I feel like I have to do it. *shrugs* I'm obsessed with magazines. I have about 10 subscriptions & I never throw any of them away. I'm obsessed with beauty. People, clothes, nature, anything colorful & aesthetically pleasing. I look in the mirror a lot too, at home, just studying myself. I can't stand to look up close in a mirror in public, though. Lighting's so bad in most public places that it's just kind of depressing. lol

hehe my friend has OCD, and if you poke her on one side of her body she pokes the other side automatically, and she has to have everything even or it bothers her :)

I DON'T like to look at myself in the mirror, having been told often as a kid that I was very plain. I can get dressed without looking in the mirror. I can comb my hair without looking in the mirror. I can put on makeup without looking in the mirror (because I can't put on makeup with my glasses on, and when I take them off I can't see anything.)

My friends don't understand about color-love either. When I say things like "... we make up palettes of four or five colors ..." they say things like "... you mean like red, yellow, blue, green, and purple?" *laughing out loud*

To the 'why COLOURlover' comment, the few people who I have told that I go on COLOURlovers really don't understand what I do and why as well! They just look me and then change the subject. Maybe us COLOURlovers are the only ones who can truly understand.

Trademark? It is usually through my art, but I say a lot of very random things. Last month I said the world seriously often. Last week, woah. I used to also be able to squeeze in get a room into many conversations..... So I guess I go through many trademarks over time.

I used to have OCD really bad as a child and as I got older I grew out of it. I still have my little things though. I'm really weird about washing my hands, and find myself doing it all the time without thinking (especially when I touch something like the mail, haha). I'm also really weird about the order of things and uniformity. So you're not alone!

I usually ssay my friends names or nicknames [sometimes even some word] in superlative, I won't give any example becuase in portuguese is totally different, but that is one thing I do a lot.
And I have a word, I created it an it can mean anything deppending on the context. The word is "ishtalavamá", yeah I don't know where that came from, but it did lol

My friend says i 'always have my hand on my pulse", meaning that I am obsessed with how I feel. She also says things like "sometimes a headache is just a headache". I don't know if my thing is that I'm a hypochondriac, I am super sensitive to pain, or if I choose unsympathetic friends?" I wouldn't even try to explain COLOURlover to her...

Some people get the COLOURlover thing. Most dont. Nowadays I dont really talk about it much anymore :)

I hate looking in the mirror too, like GreenMyEyes, unless I am alone, and even then not really. I'm always surprised by the way I look, its so different from how I think of myself.

I have a thing about food. It must be alwyas be eaten with care and ceremony, and in a certain order according to my own internal rules. I cant stand it when people treat themselves like rubbish bins and unthinkingly shove food into themselves. This is something that I thought was private to me, but all my colleagues have noticed it. They say when I have lunch its like a little meditation, and never to get between me and my food :p

COLOURloving is something i've explained over and over to my friends, and more than half are all like:
"you're weird."

Hah, I keep trying to get my friends and fiancee to look at my work on this site (and others' work too, though that's a bigger step for them)... but they usually won't unless I shove it in their faces. My friend that did see a few was like "Uh... what are you going to use these for?" Oh I don't know... my paintings, design, house stuff... I don't know. Think I'm just going to stop trying to get them into it. :P I'm glad that I'm not alone here at least! :D

I'll have to think about those 'little things' that I do. I think I'm so odd and have so many of those that it all just seems routine to me, haha! Will get back to ya, lightning. :)

I talk about my art way too much, I'm very narcissistic LOL! I guess it comes with the turf when you're building a brand.

I talk to myself and make up words, such as I came up with "blarble", which to me is blabbing and babble put together...my brother said once that talking to ourselves is the only way to have an intelligent conversation... yea, I am weird. Colourlovers is another thing that it seems that only WE can understand, altho my granddaughters do love it. My husband just gives me the old shake of the head. The dog also, he has about 5 different names depending on what mood that I am.... We adopted him from the Humane Society when he was about 2-3yrs. ,he had been named BEAR, which is not a name that I would hane named him, so he is, Bobaa, booboobear, BEE-Haw....I think that when we "face" some of our idiosyncrasies that we all are a bit peculiar, and that's okay, weird, but okay.

I noticed just recently that I have an obsession with symmetry. It's just so much better when things are symmetrical. There's an online game I play that is all numbers. I've noticed that my numbers have to be even, and that certain things have to be the same. For example, in the game, you buy rows (it's called mysql game), and you can buy money factories and fuel factories for your row. All my rows have the same number of fuel/ money factories. Just, yeah. weird.
