I have noticed that there are a lot of differences in the way the lovers here love palettes, colours and patterns...

Some people vote, but don't fave or comment, many fave but don't vote or comment, and some just comment without either voting or faving...

I ALWAYS vote and fave on palettes or patterns that I love, but rarely comment

A lot depends on the mood of the moment. I don't have a rule for this.

When a color/palette/pattern attracts me in some way at least I express a vote (that not necessarily has to be the highest possible, even if it generally is). Then if I have a good feeling with the author, or I have an opinion, an appreciation to share or some pun with the title, then I comment.

(Almost) never happens that I love without giving a vote, much more often happens that I love without comment.

i comment. i myself like receiving comments so much so i think other people would like it too. i don't remember to rate that often, but sometimes i do. i fav if i really really like the palette/pattern/color and/or want to find it easily anytime later.

I almost always vote, and I comment more than I fave. Sometimes I do fave without commenting, though. On the whole, I comment and fave for the same reasons as ventilatorblues mentioned above.

I vote for every palette that I look at (because obviously I liked something about it). But the rest depend on my mood, sometimes I comment without faving and other times I favorite and don't comment (mostly when I first joined the site...I was shy!). Now, I usually comment if I favorite something.

I vote for everything I like, fave everything I love and rarely comment. I never comment on stuff I don't vote for.

If we've faved each other, I'm more likely to comment -- I'm weird that way. If I don't really know you, I'm much more likely to leave a five-heart with no comment, a bit of love from a secret admirer. ;)

I fave a palette if I want to see it again, because I make the rounds every new month to re-love my favorite beauties. I tend to be really stingy with that kind of love, because I've something like 20 pages of faves now... but I'm plenty free with the votes. <3

Anything I like, I vote 5 hearts and I fave. I won't even look at something unless it's 5-hearts-worthy to me, so that's intended to be a high compliment, not just my arbitrary way of voting.

I comment, but not often these days.

I also don't do a lot of reloving, which people here are really big on, and that's a totally wonderful thing, to be sure, but I spend way more time searching out new stuff to love and add to the collection. I'm very "more the merrier" when it comes to that sort of thing.

I vote and fave if I REALLY love it, and almost always leave a comment if I have time.

I just joined today. I already have 1 on my favorites list, to which I commented & voted for! I plan to do that for all of them!

I try to at least vote on that which catches my eye. I feel that acknowledgement is a form of respect for ones effort. I know that when I see that such and such number have viewed a color, palette, or/and pattern, and no comment or heart, I have a thought that perhaps NO one even liked it at all (Boo Hoo) , Guess I must be a bit insecure?, but, I try to be polite, and friendly.

hmm, i tend to vote, favorite, and comment. If I'm not "feeling" the color/palette/pattern, I might not comment it.

I guess it just depends on my mood at the moment.

When I Like a palette very much, I comment, fav and vote it. When I like it, but not as much is I'd like to, I only comment.

Ooh yes, I know what you mean... I tend to place more importance on voting for a palette than on faving it. *shrugs* must be a hang over from when the site was still fairly new, with fewer members, and popular palettes were more likely to become the number 1 palette on the site. :)

I only click on palettes that catch my eye, so I usually leave at least a 5 star vote. If I like it enough, I'll fav it. If I can think of something to say, I'll comment. I don't really like leaving "Sweet, I love this palette." comments (not that there's anything wrong with them..), so, yeah.

I really only click on palettes that I love, so every one I click on gets 5 stars from me, a comment, and usually I favourite it, but not always. Sometimes if I see a palette that I think deserves more votes, even if it doesn't blow MY mind, I'll give it 5 stars, just because it's a good palette although not in my taste.

I usually vote, then fave and if I feel like it, I will comment on the palette, pattern or colour. Tho it really depends on my mood.

I will give a five-star rating, if I like it.
Fave it if it really catches my eye and makes me think.
This is when the comment comes about. I usually base the comment on the name, color, and sometimes meaning of the pallete.
Sometimes, I give it a five star rating and comment.

This is a side note. I have been told I give from funny comments to smart comments. Whatever is between it is for you to decided. (based on my comment) Lawl.
