Commenting on another fabulous colour I found today, I wondered.
Out of the words colour, palette and pattern which is typed out more through out the whole site?

I would guess palette, but well. You never know!

'chagrin' and 'exacerbate'...I'd love to throw in a word like 'seraglio' or 'serendipity'. As in, "The colours look like they fell from the skies in a fortuitous stroke of serendipity."

I have to say, though, I use 'colour' the most. As regards complimentary adjectives it must be 'lovely' or 'gorgeous'.

I'm really shocked that no one's suggested "tungsten" yet.

Substantiating data:
By my quick count, "I" has been used 11 times so far, counting contractions, just in the above comments. That's more than "colour", "color", "palette", "love", "a", "and", "the", "is", "are", "it", "you", or any other candidates have been used in this (admittedly small) sampling.

(We're not narcissistic... we just like expressing our opinions!)

Well, I also think that I, and, is or love is the most used word.

I would say "colour" if we count the "color" alternate spelling, too.

What about "pallet"? (Haven't seen it for a while but was quite popular once here ;)

Loving all the feedback. I am with people on love here, even though palette is seen quite often.

I would say either love or palette. Probably love..

And yay, I use color instead of colour. Color is probably the American spelling, right? ;)

We do lots of things strangely around here. I've been annoyed at the "English system" (or whatever our measurement system is called) since I took Chemistry.. The metric system is so much easier. :(
