Though it remains a classic wardrobe staple, the original little black dress (short, simple and sleeveless) has undergone many changes since it was created by Coco Chanel. The following link offers five different LBD variants:

I personally like the tiered version though I think the best way to change a LBD is by matching it with different accessories according to the circumstances (a pearl necklace, white leather boots, gold-coloured high heels, etc.)

I've seen a pattern that could perfectly match a LBD:

Black_Roses

Accessories made in this pattern (a capeline, shoes, gloves, a sash) would go really well with such a dress.

The dogs are howling at the midnight moon.
I'm on my way to where the black rose blooms.
The mountain's high, the night is cold.
I feel the sunshine; a black rose grows.

I have an awesome LBD. Stretch velvet, empire waist, long sleeves, scoop neckline, more than 10 years old and still fits like a dream. I don't get to wear it nearly as much as I should.

My sincerest apologies for not posting this in the proper place but the "bugs" thread is not letting me post.

For some reason a whole heap of stuff doesn't seem to be working properly. Noone's palettes/patterns are showing up on their profiles, just the bio and recent comments, I can't edit anything and none of the drop down menus are working.

Is this happening to anyone else or is it just me?

I just love this. The peachy colours look so calming and serene and then there's the grey and the turquoise which gives off a 50's feel (which I just love on its own). It's a perfect colour palette for this summer.

Contrary to the cliché, not all artists are solitary creatures. With Tagtool Touch, collaborative creation is the name of the game - it's easy to hook up several iPads over Wifi to paint in the same projection.

Tagtool Touch is ingenious entertainment for visual people. It's an educational activity that helps break down social barriers. Above all, it's a serious artistic instrument, for inspired and authentic visuals.
