Out of curiosity, is there a way to see which palettes were in the top 30? They all deserve a great big congrats for making it that far. :)

I don't think they randomly chose. The original blog said the top 30 would be taken into consideration for the final 9 spots. After the voting closed yesterday, Betabrand selected the 9 they preferred, regardless of the ranking.

I'm confused too, all three of my socks were in the top 5 but not a single one is in the final, how does that happen? Come on Betabrand, give the people what they want! Wow, I just realised that too. My condolences Northern Dancer that's really unfair, your socks kicked butt. Also, it doesn't make sense from a sales/marketing perspective. I'm not an expert but surely all companies want to produce something that's popular? I noticed as well that two people have two entries in the top nine. This is no slight on the quality of the entries as they're all great but I would have thought it fairer to choose one from each and give more people a chance. I'm not meaning to sound bitter here, I'm really not as I did win last time but on behalf of everyone in the top 30 who didn't make it (especially ND) I do have to say that this seems a little dodgy.

Oh, no, not me; my socks didn't make it that far. I was rooting for Northern Dancer. :) Heck, I was rooting for everyone. I don't think I've ever voted so much before. That's the fun of argyles, pretty much any colour combo looks awesome!

Awes, whoa. Though I'm excited to be in the top 9, I do feel bad for ND and Luna here. I kinda got the sense that the people that were finalists last sock contest haven't been selected this time. Perhaps because of that? :/

Oh? I don't see where FB comes in here? -doesn't have FB connected to CL either- Did manage to get into the finals without it. n__n

Congratulations to the finalists! Now to vote, it will definitely take time since it can only be one vote. I could've never whittled it down to 30 let alone 9. Lots to wonder about but the contest was tons of fun even though I knew I'd never get anywhere near close to the finals I had fun voting for all of you.

I think they were my favorite overall besides Moma's socks.

That could be a possibility. But if this is the case, they should have stipulated that entries created by previous finalists aren't eligible to win this contest. Northern_Dancer and Luna both had some of the most loved entries. This is because we, the COLOURlovers, voted them into top spots. Shouldn't that mean something?
