COLOURlovers + Betabrand Creations 2011: Plaid Shirts & Striped Palette-Socks
Remember the Betabrand + COLOURlovers plaid shirt and striped, palette-sock contests back in August and September of this year? Yes! Of course you do! How could you forget?! It was so much fun. If you haven't hopped over to check out the finished products, you should!

In the first contest, Color a Plaid Shirt, a single winner was chosen. The winner was, 'Elements' by Lisa Clair (lisadale69). Check out the real deal here at Betabrand!

The flannel shirt turned out fantastic! Complete with elbow patches and a nifty custom tag with all the COLOURlover designer info. Obviously, Betabrand spares no detail because this was produced top notch.

I'm pretty sure you will be just as excited as this guy when you are wearing a COLOURlovers designed, Betabrand produced, plaid shirt. Why wouldn't you be?

Our second contest, the Betabrand Palette-Socks, was another enormous hit. Winners, Luna Rose with "Urban Nature", Northern Dancer with "80 proof socks" and earlgrey with "Good Morning" all came out looking fantastic as the real thing. Buy the three-pack of socks at Betabrand here!

Who wouldn't want striped, palette-socks?! The colors are vibrant and hey those feet sure do look like they're having fun!

The most intriguing part of doing these contests is witnessing our digital designs turned tangible product. Seeing how the color from your screen becomes something real has been exciting for everyone.
We hope everyone enjoyed these contests and look forward to more to come in 2012!
Did anyone get their socks or shirt in the mail yet?
If so, give us a snapshot of your styl'n feet or plaid torso!

Betabrand produces short-run, high-quality and unique products - meaning they commit to a certain amount. They aren't a retailer, say like, Wal*Mart for instance where they can get things made for less than a penny and sell it for say, $3. Just an example.
The quality of the products (I am wearing the flannel and socks as I type) are really impressive! More so than I imagined a flannel could be.
These items here, aside from the quality and uniqueness in that they were designed BY and ON COLOURlovers.com is like buying an experience you were a part of (if you were). :) Take all those in to account and compare that to a pair of socks at your local Wal*Mart or even Amazon. :)
