There is no better time to show off color than during the summer, and many designers are doing just that. Taking the cue of the summer season, designers are creating some very inspiring color palettes for us to enjoy.

Since its inception in Fall 2006, the Still Life flagship store has been home to an eclectic range of original designs- envisioned and tailored to perfection-by creative director and owner, Frenel Morris. Located in the heart of the Lower East Side, Still Life provides each client with custom hand-crafted pieces. An on-site seamstress ensures that each product is carefully assembled in a timely manner with keen attention to detail.
Still Life will vertically integrate its production model by opening its very own millinery factory located in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The Still Life Reserve will guarantee control and precision of all our products from sketch to finish. We hope that with this expansion, the brand’s visibility will continue to grow- gaining continued support from the local neighborhood, loyal clientele- and spur domestic and international interest.
This years Spring/Summer line sees the addition of 4 new styles including the Addison and the 5 Panel snap back caps that we previewed earlier, each in various colorways and fabrics. The line also includes several new Ellington fedoras and ELMCOMPANY fitted caps.
Each season, we also produce our Limited Collection, pushing the fitted cap with new fabric applications never before seen and never again to be produced. This season’s Spring Limited line was made in quantities of only 72 pieces and was produced at our Los Angeles facility using only the finest fabrics, components and construction. Look out for a preview of our Summer Limited collection coming soon.”

Born in the mind of the artist and brought to life in the Colaboratory. The Colab range of eyewear brings a selection of individual designers and artists together. Each artist creates a range whereby their design aesthetic is transposed into a collective, accessible to their followers.
Colab facilitates the artists own design into production. There is no constraint, no rules to follow, no target market to appease. We leave the design to the designers and then turn their vision into something tangible.
For the cult of eighties personalities, launched in Los Angeles in 1998, Grant Krajecki’s Grey Ant line started out as a never-ending party of campy eighties fashion. The line has been a favorite on the West Coast its flash more suited to the sun-loving young things on Rodeo Drive than anywhere else but is recently getting a strong East Coast following.
The Beastie Boys, Kid Rock, Pink, G.Love and Special Sauce, George Clinton, and The Deftones. The list of fans of Initium Eyewear reads like a Lollapalooza bill. This music inspired line of stylish eyewear is built for rockstars (or to just look like one).
