And those who are being called names, too :p

That is too bad! Well, sometimes some people take offense. If anyone were to, it would've been me ;-) In any case, I like the word "heathen" and I grew up in a very religious household, so having a good sense of humor was essential <3

Heathen_GoddessOpals_on_Heather

Please, don't worry, all, I wasn't making fun of anyone's beliefs. I was just adding a little tongue-in-cheek to the name and real history behind the word "heathen".

The real Heathens were not godless, nor were they without religion, they were the people who "dwelled on the heath" (the heather, the heaths = heathland: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heath ) -- they were people who lived in the country, not in the cities -- basically, ancient rednecks! Our modern Heathens are polytheists following a more Germanic/Norse form of neopaganism who prefer to be called Heathen over being called Pagan.

Please don't make the assumption that I was making fun of anyone's religion, just a silly comment with a wink. No offense was meant, just cheekiness! ;-) Today's "heathens" aren't godless at all, they're just the opposite today (whether they are Christian or pagan) lol

Huh? Who are you?
Just as you can say whatever you want, everyone else can too. Don't you think? If you think this is about ''making fun'', that's your pov.
Why some people think they can control what can be said and what can not, is beyond me... Seriously.
If you see something you don't like, ignore it. I see many things I don't like and I ignore it when it's not my business. There are many things you would like here, concentrate yourself on those ;).

I thought this was a site about Colour, not to make fun of someone's beliefs...Can you please not? I'm tired of people making fun and insulting us believers on every other site. I came here for my love of art and to get some relief from that crud. Seriously... ._.
