Acrobat DC - Helpful Designer Software

Adobe - it's the most used reader program at the planet for now, a lot of people doesn’t even know any of his options. That topic would help you to understand Acrobat DC a bit better, little interface and using guide. Check it out, and probably you would love to teach that program like a professional.

In an Adobe Acrobat interface, there are three views, and these are home, document, and tools. When we go further into details on document view, it can either be a single document interface or multiple document interface that is, view one document at a time or numerous views at a time respectively. Home is a displayed page before you open a PDF in Adobe Acrobat. The tool is where all the Acrobat tools are presented. The Document is the default view all the time when a document is opened in Adobe Acrobat.

Adobe pdf reader for windows 10 is available and can be downloaded for free from the Adobe official website. You can download it and install within a few minutes and start enjoying all that Adobe Acrobat has to offer. The following discussion shade more light on Acrobat DC interface.

adobe pdf

Home view

As already said this is the page that is usually displayed when you open Adobe Acrobat and you have not opened any PDF file. It is an integral part of Adobe Acrobat in that it gives you quick access to recent files, frequently used tools, storage accounts, shared files, and to do tasks. Concerning the storage accounts, Adobe Acrobat has two accounts; these are the offline and online storage accounts where you can access your files. Other than your local computer, you can access your files from Adobe Cloud – these are files securely store using the link “Document Cloud” found on the left pane and online accounts such as Dropbox, Microsoft SharePoint, Google Drive, and OneDrive.

Tool centre

This is the view you can navigate through to discover all the tools available in Adobe Acrobat. All these tools are listed according to categories. Whenever you select a tool, that tool-specific commands will appear automatically on the document view only if the file is opened. In some instances, you can also be able to open some tools without necessarily opening the file. You should worry about whether to open or not open the document; if you choose a tool that requires the document to be open, you will be prompted to do so.

You have the freedom to either add or remove tools shortcut in the right pane. This is how to do it. Clicking the “Add” button will result in adding the shortcut in the right pane. An alternative way is by dragging the tool into the right pane. To remove the shortcut, next to “Open” just below the tool name, click the Down arrow then select “Remove shortcut”. There is also an alternative way to remove a shortcut, and this is done by a simple click on the cross button on that particular shortcut in the right pane.

adobe pdf

Document view

As we have already highlighted, the document view is the default page whenever a PDF file is open. By default, when you open this page, you will see multiple tabbed interfaces for viewing numerous PDFs at a time. When you open multiple PDFs at a time, each will open as a tab but still on the same window of the application. You can switch from one tab to the other from the top whereby the name indicates the name of the file being opened in that particular tab. A previous and next buttons will always be displayed on the far right-hand-side for easy navigation through document tabs whenever the number or amount of documents are high such that they don’t fit the document view.

At the top of the work area, the toolbar and menu bar are displayed. For a stand-alone application, the work area comprises of three panes. Towards the left side is the navigation pane, on the middle is the document pane, and to the right is the tools or task pane. All these panes each have a specific important role it plays. The navigation pane located on the left is useful in providing smooth browsing through the PDF as well as perform other options on your PDF file. The function of document pane found in the middle is to display the PDFs. The toolbar located next to the top of the window plays a significant role in providing other controls you can use to work with your PDFs.

In the beginning, you may not be in a position to see various tools in the toolbar. To combat this, you can add some more tools to your toolbar for ease of access. To perform this, right-click on an empty space within the toolbar then select the tool that you want to be displayed in the toolbar.

In conclusion, we need to say that it's a small beginners guide, which takes five minutes from you. And even those tiny article bring a lot of helpful information to you, probably if you will check other guides by yourself - Acrobat DC will be used a lot by you. Thanks for reading and use only the best software.

How to Effectively Integrate Your Brand's Colors into Your Storefront Location

color branding

Brand consistency is one of the most important aspects of making your store memorable to consumers. Every time customers interact with your brand, online or offline, they should be reminded of who you are, which requires using the same images, logo, colors and message.

Experts estimate it takes five to seven impressions before someone remembers a brand. That number may increase as more and more brands go online and clamor for the attention of a limited pool of customers. If you want to be memorable, you must present your brand in a similar way over and over using a variety of methods.

Using your brand colors in every interaction, including in your storefront location, is a great way to create a memorable impression. However, integrating brand colors into a storefront isn't always easy. You may be limited by the construction and colors already present in a rented space, for example. Fortunately, there are some features business owners have control over when it comes to storefront branding.

1. Create Display Windows

Creating window displays that draw people inside is a bit of a challenge. You have to highlight some of your more popular or recent items. However, your display windows are also a great place to integrate some of your brand colors, either through signage or selected products. Think about what might catch the eye of passerby as they walk past your store. What colors surround your windows and what will pop out to potential customers?

2. Change the Wall Colors

If you are in a location where you're allowed to paint, change up the wall colors so they coordinate with your brand colors. Think about the colors in your palette and what compliments them. If your colors are vivid, you may only want to use the brand colors as an accent and stick with trendier neutral tones for the background. Different types of colors have a different impact on your audience. For example, you can use black as a neutral color and to create a sense of mystery or stick with light greens and sandy browns for a sense of tranquility.

3. Add Signage

Signage is a way to incorporate the colors you want without changing the walls or altering more permanent store features. Using signage is particularly useful if you're still developing your brand colors or testing out colors before making a change. Signage is relatively inexpensive, but still makes an impact on store visitors. Use vinyl signs in the color of your choice or add color elements over a white vinyl sign. You can also use signs to point customers toward your register, sale items or to highlight new arrivals in your store. Don't be afraid to incorporate both brand colors and accent colors for attention.

4. Invest in Bags

What color are the bags you put purchased products in? Using customized bags is a great way to add additional branding that utilizes your company colors. Whenever the person leaves your store and others see the bag, the bag should be immediately recognizable as a company standard. Using a signature color boosts brand recognition by about 80 percent, so business owners should look for every opportunity to do so.

Think about the last time you visited a local mall. You may have seen someone walking out of Victoria's Secret with a pink and black striped back. You immediately knew what brand they purchased from. Perhaps you noticed a black back with white letters from Hot Topic. What colors scream your brand identity, and how can you put that on a bag so everyone sees the visualization?

5. Employee Uniforms

Depending upon what kind of store you run, employee uniforms might be a good idea. Keep in mind that uniforms allow store visitors to readily identify who works there in case they need assistance. The uniform should match the overall branding of your business. If pink is your signature color, invest in pink shirts with your logo or black shirts with a pink logo. Think about what type of uniform best represents your brand and how to add your company colors to the outfit.

If you've ever gone to Best Buy, you know employees are easy to spot because of their shirts with the bright Best Buy logo. Go out to eat somewhere like Hooters, and the orange shirts of the servers pop and grab your attention. No matter what your brand colors may be, your employee outfits should highlight them and make the store memorable.

6. Floor Signage

Adding signage to your floor draws customers in for sales and other events and directs traffic through your store. You can even use three-dimensional signage to draw them into a sensory experience. Signage can be used both outside your store, such as in a shopping mall (if the mall allows it) and inside the store to direct customers down a planned path. Think about footprints in your primary brand color that lead the way to a new, featured product.

Brand Colors Matter to Storefront Locations

Adding in brand colors gives your store a unique identity. Keep in mind, though, that the overall aesthetic of your store is much more important than simply throwing up certain colors. It's okay to limit how much you use your brand color, but there are some places you shouldn't shy away from it, such as a sign for your storefront. With a little attention to color and how it impacts your store visitors, you should find a balance between branding and usability.

What Recent Google Algorithm Updates Mean for Your SEO Efforts

search engine optimization

Do Google algorithm updates lead to sleepless nights for your SEO reseller team? Does your agency spend a lot of time trying to understand the impact of Google's most recent update? This article is meant to help agency owners and their teams cut through a lot of confusion surrounding algorithm updates. Although some Google algorithm updates target content quality and others link quality, they all share one thing in common: the desire to show relevant search results to users of Google's search engine. Google knows that if they fail to provide high-quality search results, users will simply seek out alternative options. Although Bing and Yahoo do not appear to be much of a threat at this point, Amazon and Facebook could easily sneak up on Google if they let down their guard. Because Google understands that so much rides on providing quality search results, they release a number of core updates each year and as many as 300 smaller updates to tweak their algorithm. The next time Google releases a new algorithm update, we recommend that you view that update as a tweak to provide more relevant search results. Below, we will outline three timeless principles you can follow for all of your clients' campaigns regardless of what Google throws at you.

Searcher Intent Is The Foundation

We recommend you spend a good amount of time understanding the intent of the user during the search process. Google has answers to searchers' questions already pre-ordered, so they're simply waiting for users to ask a question. The two primary ways searchers ask questions is through voice search and keyboard searches. We will tackle each one separately and provide tips to optimize for each method of search. Voice search is quickly rising in popularity and many websites have not made changes to their site to optimize for voice search. Optimizing your clients' websites for voice search will put you one or even two steps ahead of the competition. The most important thing to understand about voice search is that queries are conversational in nature. Voice searchers tend to search as they talk and ask questions as they would to a normal person. For example, if a searcher was looking for a cell phone repair company in Tampa, they might say something like "Find a cell phone repair company near me"  or "Which cell phone repair companies are open right now?" Voice searchers are less likely to add a geographic modifier like keyboard searchers do. As a result, we recommend that you create an FAQ that answers common questions such as the ones above. We further recommend working answers into your blog posts and service pages where appropriate.

Optimizing for keyboard search requires that you understand which keywords bring users to your website. Jumping into Google Search Console or utilizing third-party tools such as ahrefs.com or SEMRush will provide you with the keyword research you need. If you have an AdWords account, you can also use Keyword Planner to find new keywords or simply use the keywords that are converting well in AdWords.

For most businesses, keyword research is fairly straightforward as users typically type in the service they're looking for coupled with the geographic location they live in. For example, if someone is searching for a home improvement company in Sacramento, they typically type in "Home improvement companies Sacramento" or "Sacramento home improvement company."   Although it can be difficult to add these phrases to your marketing copy as they are quite awkward, keywords of this nature can be added to your site’s title tags. Once keyword research is completed, utilize these newfound keywords in your marketing copy and future blog posts.

Create Cornerstone Content

As you are creating these new blog posts, please follow the tips below to maximize the potential rankings impact of each blog post. The most important thing to understand is that reader expectations have changed over the past five years. Readers used to be content with 500-word blog posts. That is no longer the case. Google rewards blog posts in excess of 2,000 words in length with page one rankings. The screenshot below shows the average number of words for content with page one rankings.

graph

Long-form content outperforms shorter blog post for a myriad of reasons including the ability to add substantially more keywords and the ability to go into greater depth. A typical blog reader comes to your website looking for solutions to a problem they're facing in which your company specializes. If your blog post provides a detailed step-by-step solution to that problem, you will be rewarded with higher rankings and improve time on page. Google uses the amount of time a user spends reading a blog post as a quality indicator. Content that provides incredible levels of detail that users need to reference continually as they solve the problem garners the most time on page for obvious reasons. In the past, many agencies believed that their clients did not want to provide this level of content as they were giving away valuable information for free. Any lost business will pale in comparison to increasing website traffic and new customers. Many visitors to a blog will read one, two, or more of your blogs before deciding to do business with you. Because you spent time helping them with no expectation of return, you position yourself as a thought leader and someone who puts the customer first. Those that give the most tend to receive the most.

Understanding the Role of Artificial Intelligence

Google now utilizes machine learning to further aid in their quest to provide unmatched search results to their users. Machine learning helps Google sort through the incredible amount of data created on the web each day. It parses through that data to look for patterns that help provide high-quality search results. Follow the three tips below to help Google's RankBrain understand that your website provides valuable information for searchers.

  1. Link building: Now that you created great content, is important to attract links from other websites to your blog posts and other important pages on your website. Google views links as votes for that content and for other resource pages on your website. This is an area where many SEO agencies struggle. Many do not have relationships with other websites. If you find that your agency is in this situation, we recommend that you partner with a white label SEO agency who has a wide variety of relationships with websites in several verticals.
  2. Keyword research: Focus on medium-tail keywords as they tend to convert at a higher rate than shorter keywords. RankBrain prefers longer keywords due to their high specificity.
  3. Content quality: Create user-centric blog content, white papers, and other forms of content that help potential customers grow their business and solve difficult problems.

Following the tips above will help you create a more consistent approach for your SEO clients and eliminate the strategic lurching that can often occur when new algorithm updates drop. The tips above will act as true north for your clients' SEO efforts. The next time an algorithm update drops, view it as a refinement of past updates centered around an effort to create better search results rather than a seemingly incongruent update that seems random in nature.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post; we hope that you will apply what you read here now and in the future.

Best Photo Editing Services Reviews

Stop wasting your time trying to find inexpensive and high-quality image editing services. Look through these 10 photo editing services reviews with before and after examples to make the right choice and not to spend money for nothing.

I’ve chosen this studio portrait because it is quite difficult to edit for amateurs. I’ve asked all photo editing services to fix image background, do something with this too orange light on the model’s face, clean her skin, adjust small details on her body and face.

I sent one shot to 10 image editing services and gave them identical instructions. While selecting websites, I studied a few reviews and used the articke about top 25 photo editing services review written by Jennifer Mulrow, a professional photographer.

Now it’s time to test and find out whether these services are worth our money and effort.

  1. FixThePhoto

 fixthephoto

Pros:

  • High-End photo retouching
  • Realistic results
  • Fast turnaround
  • Useful blog
  • A huge choice of photo editing plug-ins in the shop
  • Clear pricing system

FixThePhoto is a professional photo editing service that works with all photography genres and can handle any photo editing level. The prices are reasonable and understandable, there are a lot of before and after photo editing examples and all of them are at the high level and can be zoomed in.

Before placing your order, you may get a free quote. Having attached the photos via website/DropBox/WeTransfer/email, you may write the instructions, add examples of what you need, your portfolio photos for giving your edits a consistent look, and mark out the areas you need to be fixed.

My photo editing looks professional – Fix The Photo retouchers paid attention to small details, even slight scratches on the chair were removed. I like their decision regarding the yellow spot of light on the face – they didn’t eliminate it completely but added the effect of soft light. The work with the background is great, the gradient is light and smooth. Her hands look better.

  1. WeEditPhotos

 weeditphotos

Pros:

  • Low prices
  • Very professional portrait retouching
  • A detailed description of services
  • Quick turnaround

WeEditPhotos makes a positive first impression, has a nice website design and an interesting blog for beginning photographers. Their before/after image editing examples allow you to see the changes made by scrolling the lever in the middle of the image. You will read a very detailed description of each type of photo editing service they provide to know exactly what you will get.

Unlike the previous photo editing service, the approach to dealing with the light-and-dark pattern on the model’s skin was slightly different, but it looks good too. Dodge & Burn is perfect. The texture of the background was preserved, but the color became smoother. Now the model’s face and body skin looks natural and perfectly airbrushed.

  1. Wedding Retouching Service

WeddingRetouching

Pros:

  • Cheap batch photo editing
  • Discounts for bulk orders
  • Fast turnaround in high wedding seasons

The name of this photo editor service tells in what photo genre these guys specialize in. WeddingRetouching is engaged in all kinds of portrait photo retouching, offers discounts on wedding images if you order batch edit (color correction of 700 shots, image retouching of 20 shots at the basic level + 5 shots with advanced image retouching for $99). The examples are very professional and look like magazine covers.

I like the overall mood of the edited portrait. These guys removed the yellow color making the face evenly and properly lit. Also, the shot became voluminous. Light body reshaping and work with fabric is realistic and looks nice. But they didn’t remove the scratch on the chair which is not so important and doesn’t spoil the overall photo composition.

  1. High End Beauty Retouching

 4. High End Beauty Retouching

Pros:

  • High-level magazine retouch
  • Creative approach to picture retouching

Cons:

  • Quite expensive

This photo editing service is engaged exclusively in High-End and Magazine photo retouching, so the price tag is also higher – from $10 per photo and above.

In my instructions to this photo I specified – “Do something interesting with a yellow spot on the face or remove it completely”, and they chose the first variant. The skin retouching is very nice, the background was also modified well, but they changed the color to blue and smoothed its texture. I saw a slight body correction along with a straightened strap on her right shoulder. Overall, I’m satisfied with result.

  1. Nude Retouching Service

NudeRetouching

Pros:

  • Deep skin retouching
  • Many examples

Cons:

  • Narrow focus of image editing

The same as the previous photo editing service, Nude Retouching Service is rather narrow-focused. Boudoir and nude photo editing is their main specialization. Their website resembles a fashion magazine. Prices are average – from $5 to $15 per image. The pricing is very convenient, with a detailed description of what you pay for.

Skin retouching and body correction are performed very professionally and naturally. You won’t find any flaws even zooming in, but her skin tone looks a little bit strange. They decided not to darken the light on the face and simply make it more muted and soft. As a result, the face is slightly different in color, it is especially noticeable on her lips.

  1. Photorelive

 Photorelive

Pros:

  • Fast turnaround
  • Modest prices

Cons:

  • Outdated website design
  • Low-quality examples
  • Inattention to details
  • Many problems with order placement

According to many photo editing services reviews on photography forums, Photorelive is considered to be the best picture edit service online. I totally disagree with this opinion.

Their website is inconvenient. At the first visit, the website shocks you with its design of the early 2000s – incomprehensible patterns, colors, minimum of information and examples of low-resolution images. Yes, it is cheaper than the previous photo editing services, but when I see their examples of work, I feel like I went back for 15 years.

When I ordered picture retouching, I thought it was funny to choose the intensity of skin blurring. Why is it necessary at all? Why can't you just do realistically? I have had plenty of problems with the order – I even have a confirmation by a phone number.

After receiving the result, I noticed that the extra items on the background weren’t removed, although the wall was smoothed. They got the best out of the yellow spot on the face. The skin was retouched well, but the small details weren’t corrected.

  1. Retouche

Retouche

Pros:

  • Beautiful before and after examples

Cons:

  • Inconvenient design
  • Strange order system
  • Not much information about services

If the website of the previous photo editing service for photographers seemed outdated, then these guys even didn’t try to make something stylish. I don't know who worked on the design, but the full-page coconut, small font with grey highlights and a transparent background make your head ache after 10 seconds of viewing – are you serious, guys?

The most absurd thing is the examples of image editing work. In fact, they are edited at a great, professional level, but it is all hidden under the cover of a terrible website.

I didn't expect to receive my order at all but I got it and it was pretty decent. They removed the glow from the face but the lips’ brightness was preserved, which is strange. There is an abundance of shadows in some parts of her body but in general, the skin looks good. The work with the background wasn’t carried out well as on the examples above.

  1. RetouchGem

 Retouchgem

Pros:

  • Decent quality of image retouching
  • Creative approach

Cons:

  • Inconvenient website
  • No pricing

The photo editing service welcomes you with a fantastic portrait, which apparently their retouchers have been working on for hours. Then you will notice text, a lot of text. If you go to their portfolio, you will see dozens of examples but they are all in small resolution. If you zoom in slightly, the slide show will be enabled. Some of the examples are great, some are pretty weird.

Excellent examples are placed together with descriptions of what is included in certain photo editing services. Their image resolution is decent and it is convenient to view before/after pictures. What about the prices? The website doesn’t feature any pricing, so you will find out the prices after making an order.

My image cost me $8. Retouchers got the best out of the yellow glow by preserving it and spreading all over the face. The background was made colder and they added a blue tint. All this contributed to the unusual mood of the shot.

  1. Fotofix

Fotofix

Pros:

  • Many levels of photo editing

Cons:

  • Outdated website design
  • Examples of works in low resolution
  • Registration is required

A big mystery for me is the tasteless and outdated websites of photo editing services online. People who use their services are associated with creative artists. When you see that the creators of the website do not care about it, why should you think that retouchers will care about your pictures well?

I think the main Fotofix problem is quite obvious. They created the website in 2007 and it looks like it hasn't been updated for 12 years. Examples of poor-quality works and the prices in Fotofix credits raised a lot of questions.

As for image retouching, they chose the strangest way among all photo editing services. Instead of working separately with the glow, they just desaturated all the yellow colors turning it almost into B&W. Now the shot looks like a black-and-white picture with an orange spot on the top. The model’s skin looks too pale.

  1. PhotoEditingCompany

Photoeditingcompany

Pros:

  • Cheap

Cons:

  • Many website bags
  • It is almost impossible to make an order
  • No pricing

This Australian photo editing outsourcing service is quite popular in the USA. I visited their website several times, but recently it has been updated and changed the name to Mist. An update is a good thing when it leads to improvements. In case of PhotoEditingCompany, it caused the opposite.

80% of the windows and pictures aren’t loading, don’t work or are completely empty. It is impossible to test the website. The design is decent but unfinished. There are no prices, the button for making an order has disappeared. To place an order, you had to contact them directly on Facebook and by mail.

Image retouching cost $5 and I would call it average. The yellow glow was completely removed and the light on the face skin was evened out. But there is a big problem – the face began to look artificial, as the skin tone is different from the body skin color. The background wasn’t touched, except the color that has acquired another shade.

  1. DigitalPhotoEditingServices

11. DigitalPhotoEditingServices

Pros:

  • Low price
  • Large number of image editing services

Cons:

  • Disappointing quality
  • Examples of works in low resolution
  • You can’t find out the price before ordering

I worked with this outsourcing photo editing service for the first time. As I understand, now it has a different name – Invensis, although the address is the same. The site looks fine, I don't really like it, but it doesn’t put me off either.

The examples are not professional and they have a 250x100 resolution, so you can’t zoom in. Furthermore, the larger pictures have a watermark. To make an order, you need to specify a lot of personal data and I don’t think it is necessary. There is no pricing at all, you just place an order and only then find out how much it will cost.

I paid $5 for image retouching but I didn’t like what I received. They just brightened the picture, because even the line on the wall wasn’t removed. The skin retouching isn’t realistic and the yellow color has already begun to lose details, especially around her eyes.

  1. Photza

 Photza

Pros:

  • Convenient website
  • Clear pricing
  • Quick ordering

Cons:

  • Picture retouching at a very low level
  • Ignoring all the requests given in the instructions

The website of this picture editing outsourcing service looks quite professional – a lot of decent photo editing samples, various discounts, convenient pricing with a detailed description of everything that is included in the price.

In general, the expectations of this image edit service were huge. When I receive the shot, I had to double check several times, I couldn’t believe what they did. Maybe the problem is in the monitor they used, otherwise I don't know how to explain it.

They just darkened her skin. In some parts, you may see clear strokes, but the funny thing is that the background remained untouched. The model’s skin was smoothed in some places, but it became too flat on the face.

The glare under the earring drives me mad, because they have eliminated all the glare that gave volume to her skin. But this particular glare has been preserved and it looks like a white spot.

Comic Authors Who Use Instagram To Promote And Sell Their Art

In our previous article, we suggested several platforms where graphic designers could sell their work. A big part of the contemporary design community are comic writers, and these platforms also come in handy for selling products related to your comics. This is why we decided to explore some Instagram accounts that help these authors reach a wider audience across social media, and take them to their online shops. Comic content explored here is not only funny but relatable to our personalities and also tackles some social causes that matter to the artists.

@punkystudio

Punky Studio

Punky Studio takes us on a trip that follows our main character, a cat, which explores daily challenges such as anxiety and lack of motivation. The author uses this platform to talk about mental health, and okay, an adorable dog from time to time, but this Instagram account is linked to the Etsy shop where you can buy illustrations or handmade pins about mental health. What makes this account sell is the content which speaks to the cause-driven people worldwide, but also a good brand, authentic drawing and good understanding of the Instagram audience.

@eckyo.me

eckyo.me

Eckyo.me advertises an online drawing course by the author Ecky O. This Instagram account buys us with adorable characters and well-developed brand, but this art of visual storytelling is used to share motivational and inspiring short stories. This account is like your daily dose of Kung Fu Panda wisdom on social media, which takes you to their website to learn how to increase your character drawing skills for improving your own work. This account is an example of using Instagram to sell education, while the shared artwork convinces you that they know what they are doing.

@4amshower

4amshower

4 am shower is an account that represents illustrations created by Guy Kopsombut, who tells us short stories about cute wild animals and their adventures. Every story is sharing a motivational and supporting message, making it our daily dose of cute-things-on-Instagram. For Guy to be able to tell us about love and friendship, he has to receive a lot of support from his fans around the world. Guy does this by rewarding his supporters on Patreon with prints, sketches, stickers, postcards and other perks featuring our favorite love-giving animal of the month.

From a wide green sea of Instagram, a charming Greek humor finds its way to our feed. I am talking about one of the most popular designer profiles Hands Off My Dinosaur - and I do believe nobody want's to mess around with this guys dinosaur. Teo is selling, by his own words, "illustrations and stuff",  and he does it remarkably. This Instagram account will surprise you with ordinary things in out-of-the-ordinary situations, which will make you laugh till your stomach hurts. His humor is often related to food, but some interesting anthropomorphic planets, chess figures and washing machines make an appearance as well. The link on this profile takes us to his Etsy shop, where we cannot resist to cards, stickers, prints, magnets and other "stuff" we just really wanna pin to our wall and have it make our day every morning.

Safely Endangered has been around with us for quite some time, during which it has developed a certain audience type which this account can take to the end of the world with their eyes closed. The audience to these "silly comics" are enjoying the safe environment in which they read the silly jokes which sometimes go all the way to the dark corner of our consciousness and back. Besides the usual mugs and prints, the personal website we are taken to is selling a graphic book of your favorite comics and more, using selling services such as Amazon. A very specific niche of these comics are the reason why this account has almost reached a million followers and is now selling a book worldwide.

@stacieswift

stacieswift

Stacie Swift, or probably the most famous Stacie on Instagram, is our next pick for designers social profiles. Stacie uses this social network to illustrate positive messages and she, just like you, identifies as a color lover! Her account is well branded with bright, chippy colors, which support the background of each post. Her mission is to make your days with awesome sense of design and comforting words, which she is now well recognized by, and most loved by those who care about their mental health. Stacie has a shop for her postcards, but also socks and other items, a personal website and a blog where she shares her thoughts. On top of all this, she also uses Patreon where most supportive fans can reach her.

@steinbergdrawscartoons

steinbergdrawscartoon

In our previous article, we have mentioned Society 6 as a platform for selling your design. Steinberg is one of the artist whose chose was precisely Society 6, while his Instagram account helps him reach his customers. Steinberg is a type of cartoonists we loved reading in our daily newspaper. His critics of society are funny, realistic and relatable. He usually uses simple black and white drawings to tell a story, although sometimes he cheers us up with water colored images and amazingly balanced colors, which reasure us that he knows what he's doing.

@there.goes.motivation

theregoesmotivation

I don't know if these full stops in the name of the account are on purpose, but they are really suiting pauses between each word, which describe the account accordingly. Backed with personal experience of a girl in the urban society, Loron really gets people involved. Her characters are also very well developed and animated-like, so we can easily see this turning into an animated show one day, with the right support. For there.goes.motivation Loron uses Patreon and exclusive perks for her most loyal supporters.

@relatabledoodles

relatabledoodles

Another Patreon user, Relatable Doodles are a super successful Instagram trend, presenting the type of doodles you can relate to (if the name didn't say it all). This designer tackles burning issues such as use of technology, ecology, activism and activism-wanna-be, as well as anxiety, friendship and relationship inspired topics. Cee has really made it into "creating comics on the internet" as her full time job, but she knew how to develop a responsive community around her work before asking them to pledge on Patreon and support her. A truly inspiring story of an Instagram account, from which we can all learn from.

7 Useful Tips For Building A Design Portfolio As A Student

Why do students take a separate class to learn the skills of building a portfolio? Is it really worth it because you can always rely on some online service that offers you to buy assignments and receive good writings? Well, the truth is that you always have an opportunity to opt for online companies like Australia PapersOwl that will create a proper paper, but you can do it on your own, thanks to the classes you can take and a few tips that you need to have in mind. Building your graphical showcase of personal skills and work experience should be eye-catching, innovative (in terms of design) and interesting to your potential employers from the niche you want to develop a career in. Let’s say a few words on the most useful tips you can learn to tailor the perfect presentation for your job-seeking adventures!

design

Review other design online portfolio examples

The best way to start is to see what other students did, just to see how they think. This is a good tip to remember, especially for later job searching adventures when you are entering the more specific industry. Their design introduces you a gap that no one filled so you can use that as an advantage. Avoid plagiarism and copying other’s design portfolio examples, but rather be creative by designing something that you haven’t seen yet. This way you attract the attention of potential employers who will see that you have a talent and ability to distinguish yourself among others.

Alternatively, use services like Portfoliobox where you can create and customize a site according to your preferences. This way you can quickly and easily set up your website to show your skills. You don’t need to code complex structures just for a kick start but rather to quickly land somewhere and use your skills.

Show internships, side-projects, and assignments

Internships are the fantastic way to boost your knowledge, experience, and paper and try to get on board during summer to experience a bit of work atmosphere and students that work on many side projects are busy all the time but also potential targets for employers. The experience is the key to the development, so make sure you collect it as much as possible. Sometimes is hard to get the project as you have no experience, so you should start your own one to show your skills and decisiveness. Include all of these in your portfolio and if needed buy assignments from professional writing services that will enrich your vocabulary. Assignments are the legit way to prove your qualities and skills so make sure you include them in the design.

Do not be afraid of mentioning every project that you participated in. Whether is a social science project or a small startup plan for sustainability in fashion, you must include it. The employers care about your design, thinking and developing, but less about how you use natural and recycled materials to create a trendy and fashionable piece of clothes. It is all about the involvement and role, so make sure you precise your project roles and assignments.

Buy a domain, design a logo and make it personalized

Web presentations are one of the most common ways in the online world. If you are wondering how to make a graphic design portfolio unique, then you should start with buying a domain and getting things on a higher level. Once you buy it and set everything ready, make your own logo to make things more serious. Learn CS Photoshop or other program and model your logo for the website that shows your job skills. If possible, code a unique theme for the website and hire Australia assignment service to write a personalized and high-quality content.

social networks and linking

Use social networks and linking

The social strategy is important as it confirms your identity and integrates you with the rest of the world. It is recommended to use two online platforms that you should according to your skills and affinities. For example, if you are a graphic designer, you should use Instagram as it more illustrative tool. Good backlinks are a fantastic way to make you more appearing on Google especially when you link social accounts in your portfolio. After all, the better everything is packed and connected, more likely is that you will catch someone’s eye.

Explain your affinities and wishes

Why do you present your knowledge? What do you want to achieve with it? Explain how and why you and your projects are different, and how they can be useful to someone use. The relation to personal and real-world experiences is a good link to explain what you are looking for. Present useful facts that back up your claims and intentions, as well as reasons for designing a portfolio.

outside the box

Balance colors

This is especially important for those who want to be graphic designers. Practice on many projects before until you learn and get the feeling of color setting. Do not make very colorful portfolio as the neatly balanced, graphically precise template of your presentation is all you need to be interesting to companies. You can use Paletton to design a color palette that has a balanced spectrum and make everything more personalized and unique.

Mobile-friendly and content-related

A lot of people are searching for projects and workers via mobile devices, so keep in mind that you must optimize portfolio so the Android or iPhone users can easily navigate it and browse. If you don’t, more than 50% of users will just close when sees content and design that are not optimized. Depending on the industry and jobs that you are looking for, you should find online Australia buy assignments service to proofread and optimize your content. Student portfolio websites often recommend some good team of writers that tailor your content to be optimized and well-suited for the niche. Keeping both things optimized, you are building yourself a concrete pavement to the job you want.

16 Design Ideas for Student's Dorm

dorm decor

Nothing entirely comes close to the excitement of packing off to campus for the first time, and it gets even better once you realize that you now have your private space-with no parents around!

Unfortunately, though, university bedrooms are not a sight to behold. Not only are most of them dull, but also unfavorably drab. Nonetheless, don’t let it dim the light of your spark! With a few easy tips, you can transform your otherwise dull dorm into a stylish and dashing new abode in no time!

Below are some easy hacks to decorate your student dorm room and make it picture worthy.

  1. Light it up!

What is perhaps among the easiest ways of making your room extra cozy is the use of fairy lights in brightening up your space. For more adventure, you can go with neon lights. With the fairy lights, you can drape them around your room or use them to hold up photographs with pegs.

  1. Create your own deadline board

It is no brainer that as a student, you have a lot of things to remember including exam dates, essay deadlines, and even class hours. Even so, while you could have your room stacked with post-it notes, you can go the relatively neater option of creating a deadline board.

  1. Customize your bookshelf

If you only get a little more creative, you can transform virtually anything to hold your possessions. For instance, you can modify a small stepladder to a delightful storage feature with some attention and love. If you have a bookshelf with a plain panel, you can customize it by adding some of your photos into the empty spaces behind your books.

  1. Don’t forget your drawer space

Simple, innovative measures can transform your drawer space to make it look both attractive and organized. You can take dividers for instance and quickly spice up a sock or underwear drawer instantly.

  1. Make your own removable wallpaper.

dorm design

While this one sounds quite ridiculous, take a moment and understand what it means for you. Word is that you can create temporary wallpaper by using just plain fabric sheets and liquid starch. Imagine that! Surprisingly, all you need to do is pick your favorite material (choose a wacky color) and get a sponge roller to stick it up using the liquid starch! Luckily for you, in case you need to move out, all you need to do is peel it off!

  1. Poke holes in lamp shades

dorm design

You can personalize virtually anything-including plain lampshades. Once you poke holes in the lampshades, you can project any pattern you wish across your room.

  1. Make your own headboard

While it is exciting to get a room on campus, the disappointing thing is that you can have an awfully dull bed staring at you once you arrive there. However, if this is the case, you can create your own headboard to give it a light touch of personality. Luckily, all that is required of you is to make a trip to the closest hardware outlet and pick up a plank of wood. You can decorate this plank with fabric, light, or anything else you fancy.

  1. Use a Washi Tape on Everything…

If you don’t know what a Washi Tape is, it is a remarkable Japanese masking tape which is not only reusable but also removable!  These characteristics render it suitable for numerous diverse roles including creating removable wallpaper, design photo frames, not to mention what is perhaps the most captivating functions, creating pineapple-themed wall art!

  1. Spice things up with cozy cushions

Spice up your bed by pilling up some cozy, patterned, and colorful cushions on it. Any cushions with quirky or eccentric design or slogan cushions can spark some life to your bed area. You can check out Etsy for these and much more selections to suit any student room.

  1. Personalize your hangers

dorm design

If your room has an open wardrobe that features a visible hanging rail, the whole setup can look quite messy in an instance especially if you are using a load of mismatched hangers. Alternatively, you can decide to purchase a set of relatively cheap hangers and proceed to tailor them to match your room. You can add sequins, and either spray paint them with gold to a chic touch or cover them with fabric.

  1. Add some greenery

While there is nothing much to this little trick, adding some plants across your room is a simple way to spark some life into your room. What’s more, this trick comes with a surprising assortment of health benefits such as making the air cleaner as well as enabling you to study better (for real!). That' why students turn to numerous online essay writers who can get your assignment done for you with ease and on time.

Nonetheless, this is not to say that you still can’t invest in a desk to do your research or review your custom essay.  If you have a desk in your dorm room, it does not hurt to make this place worth sitting at. You can spruce up the desk area with photos, colorful lanterns, or even plants. If you want to attach items to your room wall, you can try the UHU white tack as it doesn’t leave any stains.

  1. Switch your handles

Are you fed up of the fittings which came with your dorm room? If so, there are numerous easy ways you can follow to spice up things a little bit. To start with, you can unscrew handles on old furniture such as your drawers and screw in some new ones of your choice. The options are unlimited, but be sure to put back the old handles once your tenancy is over to avoid getting in trouble!

  1. Organize messy wires

It is no brainer that you, of course, have a phone, or even a tablet and a laptop…right? Each of these gadgets needs to charge regularly.
