Morning's Dove
You wake up in teh morning, the white elegance sitting on your widow sill. Her eyes small and beady, her feather of white gold. You open the window and she sings, a sad, sad tune for you. Fly, fly away Dove, you tell her and smile. Crying, both of you, she departs. The Dove repeats her vist every month, but in November, she never returned. In December, no sign. You fear she died. But in January, she reappears, three little chicks with her and she sings a happy, happy tune.
