Not bubble gum? With the project it surely does become one!
There was a reason why it's this colour... ah yes!
Because the idea was born after I made this
1000cranes_For_Japan

I made this and many people spontaneously starting posting their crane pattern!!!!
What an incredible community! ♥

So I moved the project here, so I don't promote my pattern - only the colour.. colours are OK I think. ^^'

Thanks hun! =)

Tanabata is based on Qixi Festival, The story is about the same. But the lovers at Qixi Festival is luckier as they get to meet eachother on that day (sad part: only that day), while tanabata lovers can only meet when it doesn't rain that day. It's more on chance. Reminds me of the animation Gosick. Their heart will never be separated...

Apparently it's also said 'Chinese Valentine's day'
Here's the story (in Japanese):

I usually EVERY YEAR celebrate Tanabata by hanging wishes in the trees and hoping it's not a rainy night (which is was, and which means your wish doesn't come true) but I absolutely completely forgot. :-( Oh well.

how sad, rain means Orihime and Hikoboshi couldn't meet. i forgot that it was tanabata and all. guess i'll make my wish next year. :(

...and so it didn't rain?
LOL! xD
I'm don't think Tanabata has anything to do with rain - it's a love story.. lovers separated by the milkyway..or maybe ppl wish so they can see the sky?

It was star festival on Thursday! The 7 of 7 (July)
People decorate all kinds of origami and pieces of paper on that day

This reminds me of this song, "Arigatou (Thank you)" By Kokia. Kokia wrote this for her long time companion dog as a tribute to him. You should hear it. Arigatou.
The kids look so cute in kimonos. Have you wore a kimono before?
