My dad went to FIT and was a clothing buyer (womens') but then went to work for himself driving a cab like his father.

I grew up in Brooklyn, but live in Manhattan for since 1990. I lived in the Bronx for 5 years during college and right after.

awww I don't encounter too many "real" nyers driving the cabs nowadays. So is it suffice to say you grew up either in Queens, BK or Manhattan?
