That's a myth about the other senses becoming more focused. And also, alot of colourblind people still see colour, they just see the wrong colour. only in comparison to the rest of us though :)
But! The blind can hear and feel things extra good! That is worthy of respect and admiration, not pity. In a sense, they simply "see" the world in a unique way. A colorblind person is just missing out.

I am referring to a total black and white colorblindness, which I do believe exists. If it does at least, I would pity them :-p
