I have to say, I'm extremely excited for fall wedding color palettes. Color trends are taking on a different look than they have in the past. Where we were seeing dark colors and deep shades, we are now seeing bright and bold colors and patterns in the wedding world. And what color is currently taking over weddings? It is something with sparkle and a whole lot of bling! Gold is hitting weddings hard this fall to create fun and fabulous events  that have a great sense of romance as well.

It is important for brides to make their day their very own and add in whatever elements make the day a little more "their's". There are a lot of non-traditional and fun elements that can be added into the wedding to create a to-die-for atmosphere. Centerpieces adorned with lots of mercury glass candles add romantic lighting to any table. And with overheard details, the whole space feels rather magical.

Of course, gold is definitely known for being a playful color, so using it to create excitement does wonders to any casual affair. These details definitely add a little something special to an ordinary idea. When the graphic design magazine Novum commissioned Paperlux to come up with an innovative magazine cover, the creative juices kicked into overdrive and the result is truly something spectacular to see and feel.

Paperlux, a design studio based in Hamburg, Germany, was seeking a way to focus on the palpable nature of paper. The result was a very tactile approach as a way to draw people to a colorful product sporting a geometric design that makes you ache to just reach out and feel it for yourself.

The design was fashioned after what is called a geodesic dome (source). Although the magazine represents a much flatter version of the dome, it still has the texture and look of the real thing.

Eric Carle was born June 25, 1929 in Syracuse, New York. When he was six years old, he and his parents moved to Germany where he grew up and eventually graduated from Akademie der bildenden Künste, a prestigious art school in Stuttgart. He never forgot his American roots and returned to the place of his happiest childhood memories in 1952.

Neon is one of those palettes that often finds itself on the wrong side of the high-brow/low-brow division. Most of us associate the vibrant colors with things like the blinking signage advertising the local bar or fast-food spot, or our favorite "Saved by the Bell" inspired outfit from middle school.

For as long as I can remember, I have always been an entrepreneur. While most kids' first business is the adorable lemonade stand, mine, was friendship bracelets. I had the fancy little case, the bobbin winder, and cardboard bobbins. I organized them by color families, and remember just looking at them, thinking about how much I loved the colors! My love of friendship bracelets carried through high school, where I actually made a little money making bracelets and sometimes necklaces.

With the advent of the internet the accessibility of information has never been more readily available than it is right now. All the answers are mere clicks away. But rather than stare at endless streams of data, creative minds have taken it upon themselves to reinvigorate the way information is displayed by transforming it into visual art.

Today's infographic may very well put the pie chart to shame but this is by no means a modern marvel. The infographic has existed for as long as humans have sought to express themselves. With the rapid pace at which technology is advancing there has also been an artistic movement brewing within digital seams. We are building a bridge between an inherent need to be imaginative and seek creativity all while living in an age dominated by computers.

Here I give you a medley of infographics with perhaps an overstated pop of color because, as you know, we can all appreciate that here.
