Running from Camera
The rules are simple: I put the self-timer on 2 seconds, push the button and try to get as far from the camera as I can.
A nice photo project from Muggezifter. When I first came across this blog I thought it was was hoping it was a collective photo project where people submitted photos of themselves running from the camera. Maybe we can convince him to expand the project if we send in our own tributes to this fun project.
Interior Design Trends: Blue & Brown
At the moment I am now loving the combination of blue and brown. Pale blue, turquoise, chocolate and light brown are the perfect pairings just in time for spring, as we do now know turquoise is the color of the moment. Hey, how can you not enjoy these two, we pretty much view them everyday in nature if you seriously think about it. What do you think about utilizing blues and browns in your bedroom or perhaps the office or the rest of your home for that matter? It is fresh, inviting and strong when paired together, again just what we need for spring. Where would you use this color palette in your space? Do you love it or hate? Why?

Coloring The White House
Colorjin, an Amsterdam based software company who specializes in color visualization for buildings and interiors, created this fun application: 'Paint the White House Purple'. It allows anyone to repaint and share what colors they would rather see the White House wear.
Besides being a lot of fun, this little tool is also a demonstration of one of their companies specialties, which a color lover might find interesting. Working in the opposite of our color tools, Colorjin allows you to upload photos of your home or space and apply new colors from a selection of different palettes. They also have a helpful section where you can gain a better understanding of color, shape and form.
Interior Design Trends: Light Blue & Hunter Green
When most think or speak of light blue, what comes to mind is innocence, baby boy, calmness, and fresh. Being that it is not so overbearing, it would fit in nicely sprinkled throughout a home. What comes to mind when you see, think or hear of light blue?

Interior Design Trends: Blue+White
Two calming colors combined, white and blue; serene, refreshing, fun and beachy. Just thinking about these two colors makes me think of the summertime down at a beach house. Perhaps these hues where chosen due to my longing for the warm summer weather or the need to wind down and relax. For whatever reason, I feel that these are a nice comforting combination of colors. What are your thoughts on these two colors?

Interior Design Trends: Purple
Purple is a rather interesting color, it is the combination of red and blue. It is often associated with royalty and seen as spiritual, uplifting and mystical. I personally can not say that I am fond of the color purple, but it is definitely a happy color and happens to be the color of my favorite fruit - the plum. When added sparingly throughout a home as accents it can be charming as well as inviting. How do you feel about the color purple?
