For me soft and subtle greens are very relaxing. It could be due to the fact that it is huge part of nature. Surrounding yourself in soft greens may not be a bad idea, being that we are currently dealing with such difficult times as a nation. Do you find that when you are around such hues it calms you?

Purple can either be masculine or feminine, and that is what I love about this color. It is rich, vibrant and is also associated with royalty. Though the color may be a bit to much for some, it can be toned down with neutral tones and when used in a softer shade with carrying grey tones. What are your opinions on shades

Yes, shades of pink are soft and a bit feminine. Why is pink viewed as feminine? When you really sit down and ponder on that question, it is rather a good question to ask yourself, It doesn't have to be feminine, but since it is viewed that way, and society helps along this concept, here we are. Personally, I never was big on the color pink, but as I became an adult I found myself loving pink and all of it's many shades. It isn't that bad, it is a rather soothing and happy hue. So, today I bring you shades of pink. What are your thoughts on pink?

With all of this warm weather I find myself thinking of the beach and the beautiful ocean. Though some oceans do not appear to be blue, I associate blue with the ocean and vice versa. Well, I felt that it was only fitting to share with you shades of blue. I chose a selection of fun and tasteful items that made me happy. Do you enjoy shades of blue?

Salmon is a great and fun color which is rarely used and seen. It is a nice change and a great way liven things up a bit, while also softening a look as well. Do you like the color salmon and are you currently using it in your home?

Brown and beige are rather serene and natural colors. Brown is dark and heavy and beige is light and creamy. Yes, the two can also be viewed as bland and boring, but like the many different colors that exist it can be beautiful and even chic when done the right way.

Mustard's, white, black and brown, what do you think? I just cannot seem to get enough of anything with touches of yellow, i love it!

I love black and white, oh and with a touch of beige as well.....don't you? It's so elegant, clean and just perfect. If you are feeling like a certain type of color on a certain day, then it can be added and it is still amazingly chic! So, this is one of the many reasons why I love this trio of colors and today is a black, beige and white kind of day for me :) Enjoy!

At the moment I am truly loving beige and mauve. The two hues are not harsh, but rather very soothing, natural and organic. These two hues, interestingly enough do not look quiet bad paired up against one another (at least the from what I have seen recently). The two colors can also help tone things down a bit in a room that is overloaded with a massive amount of bright colors. So, what are your feelings on beige and mauve?

You can never go wrong with this color combo.  Black and white always work rather well together and are quite elegant. Formal attire, place settings and decor are usually always black and white, and are the safe route to go when in doubt.

Green and brown is a wonderful combination of natural colors. Trees, branches, grass, it all can be found and seen everyday. This combination relaxes us and exudes coziness, a sense of relaxation and peace. Do you like the color brown combined with green? Are there touches of this color combination in your home? Fuchsia (...is surprisingly difficult to spell - the editor) seems to be pretty huge at the moment. It's bold, bright and tropical, and can add a dramatic touch to any home when used accordingly. It's a very playful and charming color, so why not use it (if you are fond of it) in your home or anywhere else for that matter. As for me, I can deal with this hue but in small doses. How about you? The fresh and exhilarating mood today is green and white. This palette is one that I will be incorporating into my home, and it will pretty much stay that way due to the fact that my favorite color has been green ever since I could remember (could be because I am a spring baby and emerald is my birthstone, who knows?).

Again, we have a pattern here, yet another selection of hues that evoke thoughts of Spring.
