I don't want to get technical with you but when you list the Conference Championships and League Championships, you are putting them a year behind.
For instance, Tampa Bay is my favourite team but they won the Super Bowl in 2003, not 2002. The NFL season starts in the September the year before (ie, Tampa won the Super Bowl in 2003 but their regular season was in 2002). Therefore, the NFL always crowns its champions in the following February (or late January, depending on the sunday in which the Super Bowl is played) and they are that year's winner.
Other leagues like the NHL and NBA, which split their schedules between two years (ie the 2008/2009 season) lists their winners also in the year they actually won the championship too. Although, in some cases, the champion may be referred to as the 2008/2009 winner.
I know what gilhool is trying to say too... Minnesota has a League Championship listed beside their name but they actually never won. They just appeared in the Super Bowl, losing to Kansas City. I figured this out when I saw the New Orleans Saints... three games played in the NFC championship but, alas, no wins either (sorry New Orleans).
Nevertheless though, a great post and very well done indeed! Way back in 1994 (I think), there was a survey done for every professional sports team in terms of best logo and best colour scheme. I should try to dig it up and post it on here too. I do know the St. Louis Blues won the best logo in all of sports... simple, clean and very identifiable too.
