With a long and colorful history that dates back to the 60's, concert posters have moved far beyond their roots of simply informing people of when a band was playing, into a full scale art movement with shows of their own dedicated to the art.

the psychedelic posters -- posters from the fillmore east / west are amazing, a mark of an era for sure.


and here's some of asheville finest :: Hand Cranked Letterpress i love their prints, and the variety of stuff they print as well.

Great posters, I really enjoyed this blog. I also am a fan of the psychedelic era.
You might look up some posters of Rick Griffin from the late 60's through the 70's. Classic Stuff
