MOO: Stickers and Cards for COLOURlovers

MOO: Stickers and Cards for COLOURlovers

We've been wanting to work with MOO.com for a long time and we're now fully plugged into their new product platform. MOO makes wonderful personal calling cards, notecards and even stickers that are high quality and dead sexy... and now you can get your MOO cards with COLOURlovers palettes on them.

We chose the top 10 palettes from the last year to provide to Moo for their new ReadyMade store. We hope to continue to add more options to MOO and hopefully someday even make every palette on the COLOURlovers available.

ReadyMade Designer packs

Choose the MOO product you like, before you personalize it! The images below show some of the designs available in each pack. There are 16 different designs in each NoteCard pack, and up to 50 different designs per 100 pack of MiniCards.

Mini-palettes! Hooray! They're adorable and beautiful :D

Dear MOO.com: These look fantastic. But I'm not sure what you mean by "stickers." Are they the same as "post-it" notes in the U.S.?

lesaint

Just curious... is there any way we can find out what the palettes used are?

Also, it says you picked the top 10.... but it says "up to 50 different designs per 100 pack of MiniCards" too. So I am confused :S

electrikmonk

i see a lot of my palettes in the mix - sweet.

@lesaint: We gave MOO 120 Palettes... but each pack comes with up to 50 different designs... so out of the 120 you have to choose.

Thanks Darius. This is sweet and a GREAT way to spread the word... when I have some spare cash I'll snag something.

PS I think I spy my victorian wallpaper in the mix :P

That's so awesome! I would most definitely cover my stuff in little palette stickers ^^. And with little notecards and minicards, I could have palettes everywhere! I'll be checking this out.

vaneea

did any of my palletes get picked?

mkovach

Great idea, I have no idea on how I would use these, but they are very cool. I do wonder, how the rgb values get translated to what I think is CMYK, I know the "software" can do this but can the creator have some input to the ink values?

spiralstairs

Lovely idea, can't wait to get some.

I just noticed that the cards are measured in millimeters ... refreshing compared to something like this: 1.258in x 2.983in .... the metric system makes way too much sense when compared to the standard system. I think in the long run [and considering the emerging world-economy] that the US would benefit from the metric system ... though it would be extremely expensive to retrofit to the metric system.

lesaint

mkovach, Photoshop (and maybe illustrator) would display both the RGB and CMYK values and they would be user-editable, however with a properly calibrated monitor and printer, no manual tweaking would theoretically be necessary. The only caveat is that every one of us Lovers is looking at these palettes with differently calibrated screens... I have even noticed the difference when using someone else's computer to view my own palettes. So if one's monitor was way off, they might even not know what their palette truly looks like.

Or maybe I totally misunderstood the question :P

this is just too cool. its like paintchips with our own design. it may just be visual sensory overload for me. i can't wait to buy some!

Coolness!

On a similar note... Up here in Canada, through our Canada Post, we can order our own custon designed postage stamps!( I think the American post office offers the same service?) It's another great way to display your favorite colour palettes!

MOO are awesome, and now that they have palettes on them, they're awesomer!

manekineko

you can bypass the whole thing and upload your own palettes instead, though the site won't get the kickback:

deliquescence

is there a way to view the palettes that come in the pack? i'd much prefer a customized pack with my own favourites in it or a selection by theme or a dominant colour.

lostmy

Gorgeous!
It was through the MOO site that I found this one. So cool you can get mini cards with palettes. I've already found loads of uses for my photo mini cards and this has now sent my brain into idea overdrive.

"We chose the top 10 palettes from the last year"

I would really love to know what they are... Or even better be able to see a chart of top palettes in the last year or ever? Pretty please?
