Started 2/10/07, completed 3/6/07, but I wasn't working very much on them. The first sock went fast. I dawdled on the second.

The yarn is from KnitPicks, and was dyed specially for me by my awesome Secret Pal, Rachel. The stripes turned out perfectly!

My Construction Barrier Socks

Made from Crown Mountain Sock Hop "Big Yellow Taxi" using a highly modified Jaywalker pattern. I spun the yarn. I did four 15 stitch panels of the chevron on US 2 needles with yarn that was a little too thick for US 1's. I was learning how to spin the Sock Hop yarn, and dd it too thick, but I love, love, love my socks as they're supple, strong, soft, and springy.
